A "MELT" Course

Who should take this course?
The A "MELT" Course is designed for individuals who already have experience in the trucking industry. This program is ideal for individuals who currently hold a class DZ Licence and want to upgrade to an AZ Licence and expand their career opportunities within the transportation sector.
The course provides trainees with the Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) required by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) to obtain a Class AZ License.
Graduates of this program are prepared for a wide range of entry level positions in the trucking industry.
The A MELT Course helps experienced drivers advance their skills and meet Ontario's Professional Licensing standard for safely operating tractor trailers.

Z Endorsment Air Brake Course
Ontario Truck Training Academy offers a 2-day, 12-hour Ministry of Transportation of Ontario approved
TTSAO Air Brake "Z" Endorsement Course.
This course provides the essential knowledge and hands-on training required to safely operate vehicles equipped with air brakes systems. Both Written and Practical Testing will be completed on-site, allowing trainees to obtain their "Z" Endorsement efficiently and conveniently.
Course Highlights:
- 2 day course, 12 hours of comphrehensive insruction
- MTO Approved TTSAO Course
- Testing Completed On Site
- Fully Functional Air Brakes Boards to allow trainees to visually see components of Air Brakes systems
Successful completion of this course allows participants to add the "Z" Endorsement to their Ontario Driver's Licence, a mandatory requirement for operating any vehicle equipped with Air Brakes.

Who should take this course?
The A-Restricted Course is designed for corporate clients who need to tow a trailer that weighs over 4500kgs (Class A) but the trailer does not have air brakes. The trailer must have hydraulic or electric brakes.
This course is ideal for:

- Construction
- Tradespeople
The A-Restricted Course provides the training necessary to successfully complete the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Road Test and ensures that our corporate clients remain compliant with Ontario’s licensing requirements.
The AR License does not allow you to drive a tractor-trailer
