At Ontario Truck Training Academy, we incorporate advanced driving simulators into our training programs to give students a safe and effective blended learning experience.

 

Our simulators are designed to support a wide range of training procedures, including:

    • Students can practice double clutching and gear management in a controlled environment before applying these skills on the road.
  • Defensive Driving Scenarios
    • We provide access to industry-leading defensive driving programs, used by various clients to assess and improve driver habits, awareness, and reaction times.

By training in the simulator first, new drivers build confidence and develop critical skills without the risks of real-world traffic. This approach ensures that when they transition to behind-the-wheel training, they are already comfortable, prepared, and focused on mastering the road safely.
